Lands of America recently had $1 billion in farms, ranches and other land for sale for sale in the Wonder State. This represents some 303,283 acres of land for sale in the state. Of the 75 counties in the state, Fulton County had the most rural property and land for sale. The most expensive piece of land listed for sale in Arkansas on Lands of America recently was $179 million, while the median price for land for sale in Arkansas was $339,456. The average price of land and ranches for sale in Arkansas was $832,312. There was 950 acres of sold land in Arkansas recorded in September 2018 through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a 23 percent decrease in sales activity over the previous month. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $2.8 million. Fulton County recorded the most land sales recently in the state. Living up to its nickname as the Natural State, Arkansas is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts of all stripes, from hunters looking to bag wild turkey and deer to birders hoping to spot some (or all) of the state's 400 species of birds-including the endangered Red-cockaded woodpecker.
